Here for sale is my clean 106 GTI in Onyx Black.

It was previously owned by a friend who is a panel beater and mechanic and while he owned it it was stripped down to a rolling shell, resprayed in its original Onyx Black, the front badge was removed and bonnet and front bumper was smoothed off and the rear badge was also smoothed off. The engine bay was stonechipped along with the underside of the car.

Its original engine had seen better days and was shooting oil out the dipstick so was replaced with a Saxo VTS engine which was rebuilt and had new camshafts put in as the old ones were worn.

It also has a retrimmed Leather and Alacantra interior which looks like it had just came out the factory. It is also back on the standard 106 raptors which look better than the multi spokes it came with.

In my ownership it benefited from the retrimmed interior, standard 106 raptors, and a powerflow exhaust and decat - not too loud and is nice and raspy when accelerating.

As you would expect this car absolutely flies as it weighs very little and the engine is a power house all the way through the gears. It has a 1.5 diesel box in it which can handle the power and torque easily all day long.

I have the v% for the car and everything for it is in my name, thecar has 5 months tax and MOT but will fly through MOT as everything that could be replaced on the car has been.

The headgasket was done in February as the car was just being finished so has had new timing belt and altenator belt. New brakes have been done all round with the rears being done in the last 100 miles with brembo discs and ferodo pads.

All that could be done has been done so the car can be driven worry free for the next few years easily.

Only reason for selling is I want a Sundance yellow or Diablo red gti.
