1996 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF 1.4 - Red VW excellent little runner, low on fuel costs! : High Wycombe : £595

Welcome to my advert and thank you for taking the time to have a look!

We purchased this car about 8 months ago for my Mum in law who came out from South Africa for 6 months to stay with us and help out with our toddler and newborn.

We no longer need the car as she's back home again and as much as we love it, the cost of keeping an additional vehicle doesn't make financial sense.

That said, this car is in mint condition considering its age. It's been very well looked after and the interior is in great condition as is the body work. There is no accident damage and only a few light scuffs etc.... the only notable bit of work is a rust mark on the passenger side front door at the very bottom, I didn't even notice it until I came to photograph the vehicle for sale. I have provided a photo of this. As standard with red cars, there has been a bit of fading of the front and rear bumpers - typical with red vehicles and really not too bad on this particular car. Come and have a look if you'd like to see for yourself. There are a few minor scuffs on the bumpers but nothing too obvious.

The car has electric windows and central locking (that still works!!!)

The good bits:

*TWO sets of keys and a VW keyring
*Original radio - working
*Very clean inside and out
*Two new front tyres
*MOT until July 2012
*Tax until June 2012
*Very light on fuel
*Lady owners who have cared for it with love!
*Both rubbers have been replaced with new ones on the parcel shelf
*Smells clean and fresh inside
*Will be clean and freshly washed for the new owner

*Did I mention, it's a Golf!
*Bargain buy, no reserve!

Bad bits:
*A small rust patch on the front pass. door (see photo)
*Scratch on the drivers side door window (not sure what from, may be polished out)
*Small chip on the windscreen
*Some minor scuffs and scrapes - hardly noticable but no dents!
*No service history - we bought it as such and have had to do nothing but service the car since we had it

This car is an absolute gem, it's run like a dream since we've had it - never a bad moment and recently spent £150 on two new tyres. Cheap to run, cheap to fix and cheap to insure - grab a bargain!
